Navigating through turbulence

Some will cry out… let’s turn back

Some will say... we can’t go on let’s just stop

But I believe as children of God, as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, God has given us a different spirit. A Spirit that helps us to be over-comers especially during turbulent times

Right now our nation is a mess, we have been divided for years and not only that, but wickedness and the sinfulness of man is not just hidden in the darkness anymore. People are walking about in arrogance and pride flaunting their evil ways as though there was nothing wrong with it.

From the murder of the unborn... statistics say we’ve murdered over 60 million children in our nation in the last 4 to 5 decades.

The immoral and perverseness of our nation has hit a boiling point and is an abomination before the creator of the heavens and earth. Malice has filled men’s hearts, along with a spirit of entitlement.

While this is all going on we have more corruption and scandal within the political arena than never before.

But the question is how do we respond and act in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation? And by the way this is nothing new… listen to the word of God…

(Acts 2:40) “And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” NASB

(Phil. 2:15) “…prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation…” NASB

There’s a right posture for the church to get into, I believe as the body of Christ we need to prostrate ourselves before Almighty God in repentance for our sins and for the apathy that has gripped the church in these turbulent times…

The church in fear has coward to the commands of governors who dictate their own tyrannical desires…suppressing some and giving green lights to whom they wish.

We are playing into the enemies hand when we sit at home in fear doing nothing.

Listen to the scripture verse when Jesus sent out his disciples, "Now He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all the demons, and the power to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing. (Luke 9:1-2)

Yes, they went out and healed the sick and the diseased not in fear, but in faith!

God is trying to get our attention church! The Spirit of the Lord is declaring awake, awake wake-up my children from your slumber it’s time for the church to declare...

"May God arise, may His enemies be scattered,

And may those who hate Him flee from His presence.

2 As smoke is driven away, so drive themaway;

As wax melts before a fire,

So the wicked will perish before God.

3 But the righteous will be joyful; they will rejoice before God;

Yes, they will rejoice with gladness." (Psalm 68:1-3)
